Born from a mishap, the painting of Anne Marquet signs, in its successive periods, the encounter of a woman with herself.
From childhood, she had an irrepressible taste for drawing and painting.
His studies in art history, the introduction to oil painting in the studio of Françoise André, painter in Brussels, and hours of solitary work forge, year after year, his style. His first favorite subjects are women and the representation of movement. Since 2006, the exhibitions are linked in France, Belgium and Switzerland. Anne Marquet was then successively represented by the Cigarini Gallery in Geneva and Art Thema Gallery in Brussels.
Over the years, the artist switches to the purification of form, to abstraction, leaving it to the light to give his subject to the painting.
