The artist's intention was to materialize the "TRACE" that would leave the carved object on another media. Therefore, he created a link,... a dialogue between the sculpture and its footprints on the paper... between a very strong and eternal material and a very fragile and light support. This is the reason why Baldini carved the bottom of this sculptures series in the aim of printing this hidden drawing on the paper. In this respect, each sculpture has its own edited and hand signed lithography representing its own trace.

Dans le sillon de la vie, celui du laboureur nous rappelle outre le pain, la constance.
Quelle trace a laissé Celui qui un jour a - aurait - marché sur l'eau ?

Il importe d'attendre
la fin de la saison.
C'est à l'automne
que les couleurs
sont les plus vives.

Le sable de l'arène sous le geste rouge et ample comme la trace qui restera au sol.
Partage de la noblesse en parts inégales.
