The Hasselt Fine Art Fair celebrates its 40th anniversary from Thursday March 14 to Sunday March 17, 2024 at the Trixxo Arena Hall

There you will be able to meet two Liège specialists in the international antiques market.

Aurore MORISSE is best known to the general public thanks to her notoriety due to the show Affaire Conclue in which she bursts onto the screen with her skill and grace. But Aurore is much more than a star of the small screen. In the world of antique dealers and art galleries, she has earned her place through her seriousness and knowledge. With a plus that is always noticeable: kindness.

It provides proof this time again by sponsoring 5 artisans from the Province of Liège for their first participation in the Hasselt International Fair:

Frédéric BEINE, artisan watchmaker from Braives

Gérard LUDWIG, decorator in Rocourt

Gaelle GASPARD, leatherworker in Pepinster

Catherine DELMOTTE, garnisher

Anthony BIZARRO, gallery owner

Jean-Pierre DEFOSSÉ, for his part, has been one of the major figures in international art and antiques fairs for more than 40 years. It was in Remouchamps, his village of origin, that the project to create the Salon de Hasselt was born in 1983. Since its first fair organized in Aywaille in 1980 in the St-Raph sports hall, it already had a dozen fairs throughout Belgium when it presented itself in Hasselt and won the exclusivity of a Fair there. annual. The Hasselt Motor Show was the turning point event that shifted a small family company towards an international future. Note that the headquarters of the company, which held up to 18 annual fairs, remained in Remouchamps until 1992. Today, his sons Arthur and Ludovic are taking up the torch.
